I was at my lfs getting my first torch and was thinking about adding another fish since saving my clown from ick and going fallow. I wanted a goby and employee told me they have a tiger and it looked awesome. The more I look at it though, it looks more like a twin spot.

My tank is only 4 1/2 months old and I’m afraid to keep it after reading about how picky they are. I have added copepods twice during ugly phase and regularly have my glass covered in munnid isopods at night but I’m still worried about him starving and feeding in general.

Should I take him back for a different goby?

Really, I’ve heard rumors that he did, do you think it’s true?
I hear he had one and loved it. It's kind of a trademark now, and should be his avatar

Pictures?

I had a Twin Spot. The rumors are true! Mine lived for a couple of years. He only ever sifted the sand though, so is be careful on a newer tank if he's not eating prepared foods.

Dragon gobies also sift the sand so I'm not sure they're much different in terms of diet and difficulty? I could be wrong though, haven't ever owned one of those (yet).

He left his original burrow on the back left side today while I was at work today. He seemed happy. Think he got kicked out by a nassarius snail. I think he’s hiding inside the cove or he jumped and our cats got him.

Mine slept under a frag rack in his burrow.
