I swear I’ve tried figuring out what both of these things are and can’t.

The first is a clearish membrane that looks like it has tubes or openings developing?

The second is a strange looking “arm” or worm that I can’t seem to figure out.

Both are on the same rock, about 4 inches apart. Are they related? Thanks in advance!

Looks like sponge and a peanut worm. Both harmless

Thanks! Glad to see they are both good hitchhikers. I got two large rocks from one store that had recently thinned out their in house DT and so far it’s been a gold mine of positive critters!
