Finally getting around to putting a build thread together. This build started when I ordered a tank from Reef Savvy last July and worked with Chris Benner (big shout out to Chris) at Benner's Woodworking for stand, canopy, and plumbing/install. Got water in it on August 4th, and first fish are coming later this week.

Tank: 72x31x24" eurobraced Reef Savvy
Stand/Canopy: walnut stand, extruded aluminum canopy with walnut doors
Sump: Advanced Acrylics with dedicated refugium
Lights: 3x Radion G6 XR30 pros, 2x quanta lightbars
Flow: 2x Vectra M2 for returns, 3x MP40s
Filtration: Reef Octopus Regal 200-Int, Reef Factory Roller Mat M, Lifegard 90w UV

Planning on running an SPS-dominant mixed reef. Will be dosing Kalk with a stirrer to start.

More to come!

Lost a few of my anthias to either Uronema or a bacterial infection/shipping stress, but the replacements have done well. 5x bimacs are definitely my favorite fish in the tank.

Got a pair of Bellus Angels, a female rhomboid wrasse, and pair of Helfrichi firefish on the way from Marine Collectors.

This is my first tank running a rollermat and it’s been almost too efficient. Nutrients have stayed pretty bottomed out even with heavy feeding.
