Hey everyone so this is my first tank so I have no experience with identifying anything . I've got all of these little pink/purple spots showing up on one of my rocks. My tank is about ten days old nuvo20 and the rock was dry live rock from brs. Been cycling these past 10 days also. IMG_7150.JPG

I definitely figured it would not be coralline but I had no idea what else it would be. Thanks for that link.

So one more quick question. Since this is still only isolated to one rock should I just remove that rock and clean it or is this something that I can just ignore? Its spread around pretty evenly around just this one rock.

No they're little filter feeders. They're great.

It's more than likely dead. Not uncommon.
Ignore it.

Hadn't noticed that you said it was dry rock. Almost definitely dead

Awesome guys thanks so much! Didn't want things to start going bad right as Im getting the tank going, that would be a bummer.
