It’s time for my second build. Innovative Marine came out with a great tank at an even better price. I couldn't pass it up.

Tank-Innovative Marine Nuvo 15
Stand-Coralife 16 stand
Light-Nicrew 30 watt to be NooPsyche K7 mini
Pump-Mighty Jet 538
Heater- Visotherm 75 watt
Rox Carbon
Sand-caribsea special reef grade
Lid-IM lid for the tank

The tank arrived double boxed and in great shape. EDF9190B-E738-45A6-9295-104C2AF5F3F9.jpeg

decided it was time to go shopping.

Another forum member suggested this stand and I like it. Great price. It’s ordered and arriving within a week.

I went crazy and grabbed the IM mighty jet 538gph pump. Way overkill, but it’s adjustable. I may go with the IM output spin thing.

Noopsyche K7 mini ordered.

I hope to get the tank opened and examined today.

I’ve decided to pull the rock with my frog spawn and the zoos. I’ll leave the other rock in the Fluval. I’m grab the Duncan’s, xenia, mushrooms too. See my other build.

Im gonna make the 13.5 a mantis tank. Back to stock hood and light.

I just got the mighty jet 538 installed. Fits perfect. Seems quiet so far. Have it set at 1.7 (19 watts). Tank easily handles. 444gph. Will probably turn it down to 358gph. Flow is strong. Great to be able to fit a bigger pump easily in the aio chamber

Any reason to use the sine wave mode.

Cleared up nicely. Had to turn down the pump again. This is a beast of a pump.

Waiting for the light and lid. Seems that both IM and NooPsyche are slow to ship. Once the light gets here. I can make the swap over

Ordered the double output nozzles. Way to much power for one. Substrate is blowing around on the near lowest setting.

Once I get the rocks in the tank I’m sure the currents will change. image.jpg

Using the extra nicrew for this tank. Until the Noops arrives.

Looking to do rock next. I was planning on taking a chunk of rock from the 13.5. Will help with the cycle. And bring some coral to the tank.

Xenia, mushrooms, and Ducans very soon. Just hurts to take 1 of the 2 rocks in the tank. It’s running great. Of course that opens up some options. Lol

Tempted to start fresh with base rock. But then Im paying for 2 tanks. Lol.

I hate that dusty layer that forms on the inside glass. Just new crush coral dust and it comes off. But still.

Decision coming soon.

Ended up trying the wave maker. It’s amazing how the flow changes with the dual nozzles.

Duncan already seems to appreciate the extra flow

Added my 2nd nicrew 30. Was running both on the Fluval. Besides the NooPsyche is 60 watts.

I added a tri colored wrasse. Love the colors. The way he flutters around the tank is amazing. Eating well. Lays upright on the gravel under a ledge randomly throughout the day. but is always out swimming around exploring
