When your landlord says " a 6ft aquarium is no big deal and doesn't require a deposit, just carry renters insurance" then he actually sees the 6ft tank being set up and completely changed his mind.

I've spent 2years buying, selling, trading, gathering equipment, waiting for the right tank. I get it all together and under 1 roof to be told I can't have it.

Now I'm looking at having to downsize to something 4ft or less, so I can't keep any of the fish I've been planning.

Frustrated this Saturday!

I had a no aquariums clause in my lease, but convinced my landlord to let me have one by providing liability insurance. You can get it with renters, and it's cheap. I have 100k liability. That was good enough for them, now I have 3 tanks:)
