Hello,

Not sure what this is and its all over!!

250 gallon fish only
Nitrate 25ppm
Alkalinity 9.5
Salinity 1.026
Phosphate .08

So how does it behave if you try to blow it off? Can you suck some up, or pull some off and put it in a beaker? can we get more pictures or video? This is probably not photosynthetic, it's likely bacterial I'd guess.

Algae is not colorless.
The structure is quite regular across the entire rock surface.
The translucent appearance looks like a colony of microorganisms, sponge, or anemone-like flesh.

Maybe this is an interesting hitchhiker.

It comes off very easy i will try and get some tomorrow for a closer look
