Uh oh! Royal Gramma looks like Ich or something worse today!

All of a sudden royal gramma looks like she has something on her today. She is swimming and eating fine and not displaying any other symptoms like flashing, rock scratching or swimming into power heads. But something new is definitely on her. Any help please!


All other fish in tank are fine so far. 3 anthias and 2 clowns

Velvet is the worse, get him out of there. Is it a new fish?

Nope. Went thru ttm and has been in dt for 6+ weeks. Super bummed.

I haven’t removed her yet. She is behaving absolutely normal. No heavy breathing, no flashing or scratching, no swimming in flow, eating well.

It may be time to stop recommending TTM until this velvet epidemic is over.

I do have a "TTM tweak" in mind which might also address velvet, but it has never been tested.

During qt did she show signs and that's why you done ttm ? Or was ttm prophylactically treatment?
