Hi everyone ,
Just joined and thought i would start with a tank thread.
This is my 3rd tank now, last tank actually split and i ended up loosing most of my stock, so this time around i had a bespoke tank made.
Tank is 64l x 36w x 26h in 12mm glass, with standard bracing bars.
external centre weir to sump .
Sump is 55l x 17w x 17h.
Total volume before rock etc is 1230ltrs.

As you can see i have a hole in the wall
tank,

Everything else is in my garage or as the wife says " mancave! "
Lighting is T5 and because of its width i have x12 80w in total, x1 unit has x8 t5 and other unit has x4 t5, this means i can easily lift the smaller unit out when carrying out maintenance.

All the work i have done myself, a few hiccups on the way but i am please how things are going now.
Any questions ask away and i will add more to as i get chance.

As you can see my main form of nutrient export is using refugium !
Reason is one of the nicest tanks i have ever seen uses a refugium, miracle mud but no skimmer, also im lucky he is also one of my best pals Peter Parry and hes been involved in fishkeeping all his life, so i decided this tank would x2 refugiums cheato in one and cauliper in other, bioholmes media as well and reef rock in tank.
Sump is lit 24/7 by cheap chinese led units, work great and look neat,
Skinmer is a reef octopus 250-s fantastic skimmer.
Po4 reactor is an ultra reef
Calcium reactor is a korralin c1502 but with the bigger body.
Return pump is a vectra m1
X3 25 litre water changes each week using tmp bio
Chiller fitted as well.
