My tang developed this ulceration. Noticed it was white yesterday and today it turned reddish/pink (the actinic light is making it look purple). The size isn't changing. I'm thinking my coral beauty or maroon clown took a swipe at it. I'd rather not set up the QT and further stress it out. It's behaving normally otherwise and eating. Is there anything I can add to the tank to help it out?
Thanks!

Small injury like that should heal on its own. Ulceration can mean uronema, but tangs aren’t is usually affected. Let it heal.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
