Hi

I’m trying setup my lighting after not being used for a few months. One of my lights keeps failing to update.
I have tried the factory reset, by holding the button and pulling the power supply and reconnecting whilst still holding the button.
The light is randomly flashing
It is the non hd version
Please help

how many lights are on the system? I had same issue and the way i solved is:

I have 10 x 26 HD on my tank and 1 is parent/master which will show a green led light next to reset button.
What you need to do is
1. unplug all the lights (turn off and remain off)
2. plug and turn on the master/parent (wait till it goes green)
3. plug the light that fails update (wait till its up and shows blue led)
4. open app and click devices (it will show 1 parent 1 child)
5. bring units close if you can about within 1-2 feet and try update

this should go through. once done and updated unplug all lights and wait a few then turn all of them on.

After the reset hold the red button till the light turns red think 10 seconds then pair only when u have red light also make sure power to the controller is uninterrupted, check for loose connections.

are you trying to connect with wireless controller or AI director or directly to app (i believe this shouldn't work since it's non hd)
