Its been almost 48 hours sense i have introduced my new toadstool to my tank, and still no signs of opening. Should i be concerned?

No you shouldn’t. Moderate flow and moderate light should be fine. They get upset and the close down and become shiny. They will shed and open up usually bigger. My closed down for two weeks because I moved it four inches over to give it space for two weeks.

Moderate to high indirect flow will help it shed and open.

They do that. Very sensitive to change. Could take a couple weeks. Good flow and it will come out.
