Uncured Live Rock

I’m looking to obtain uncured live rock from Australia or fiji. What I DO NOT want is Macro Rock , live rock that has been sitting in holding tanks for weeks,(cured), I can tell the difference. Live Rock that has been sitting in an unopened wax box for weeks,( basically a coffin) or LR that’s from an area other than where I want it. I’ve had vendors attempt to sell me these things assuming I was new to the hobby and could be duped. It’s absolutely shameful and bad business ethics and really ticks me off. I want to see shipping manifests with dates and Unopened boxes right off the plane. Or I just walk away. If you can provide that, we may do business. Have a nice day!

Very cool, though they are not shipping directly from Australia to the US consumer. I just don't know anyone that ships rock by plane from Australia to the US.

They come through importers, like the link above, not directly to you the end consumer.

I know that. That’s not what I meant. Once the importer gets it, that’s when I’d want it. Not sitting unopened for weeks, not in holding tanks for weeks and not aqua-cultured.

Well, your reply seems to have tripped some profanity filters here on the forum, and your advice might be in violation of local laws

I'd suggest that everyone looks into their local laws before trying to do this

you might want to contact a wholesaler in cali or a few of them. find ones that can get it for you and coordinate with them. you may have to go there and pick it up. it is likely only flying to LA or SFO if coming from AU. Expect to pay a major premium and they will expect a decent quantity to make it worth their while
