Understanding Orpheks

Im having a hard time understanding what Orphek products are compatible with each other. I have a atlantik compact v4 gen2 that I use with gateway, and I'm looking at buying a compact gen 3 that was converted to a v4 to use gateway. My confusion is how do I have a gen2 v4 but the gen 3 wasn't a v4 (or did they offer a version that wasn't v4?). I also know that some have different spectrums than others, so if I get the gen3 that was converted to a v4 will it have the same spectrum as my gen2 v4?

so v3 through current (icon) has the same spectrum? Also how many gens in each version? Seems like they've made a lot of lights

Icon is a different LED layout. And more powerful (I believe).
