As the title states, my purple tang has an unknown ailment. The previous owner stated that copper had no effect and I’ve tried using freshwater dips and Prazipro for flukes.

It appears like small strings under the skin.
The previous owner also stated that it has had this issue for years and it’s never transferred to tankmates.

Any advice appreciated!

Pictures under white lighting would be helpful but appears to be bacterial. If fish eating , metroplex will help, but need better pics to confirm.
