unknown worm

recently got some coral, a few hours after adding it i saw this worm thing crawling on it, i grabbed it with tongs before it could hide in the rocks incase it was dangerous but it split in half, idk if its a defense mechanism or something but im hoping the other half isnt alive, though i did get the "head" so im assuming the rest is dead, also, i dont know if you can see in the photo but it has 4 white tendril looking things at the front

has the markings of a peanut worm but is likely not.
If you did not place it in there- eliminate it to be safe
