I use the nero 3 in mine and love it. I also don't think you need a skimmer, especially this early. Just let your tank mature a bit and leave the nutrients in there. My fluval is almost a year old and heavily stocked and I still have not added one.

Glad you joined. Defer to others on wave maker and skimmer as not familiar with 32.5 fluval
