I didn’t know this was possible. I got sick of all the detritus in my sump; so I removed the wall and placed my Tunze pointed it to the floor. Perhaps this upgrade will give me MORE Power!

You’ll get a wide flow for sure, won’t increase power.

YOu could probably get away with using the 6055 impellers instead of upgrading the impeller. Or maybe buy one, for now, to see if you can see if there is a difference.

When I bought these parts I was assuming that I was turning a 6055 into a 6095. I now see that the motor block is actually different, 18w vs 21w. So effectively it’s just creating the broader flow of the 6095, but not necessarily the power (+ ~1000gph) of the 6095.

Sorry if I was misleading, but yes. You get the wide flow but not the 6095 power.

Wasn't blaming you, it was my bad. Just thought I'd share in case someone else is considering.

I found another thread on here today where someone mentioned the 6095 motor is higher rpm.

I'd like to do this mod as well, but can only find the 6095.700 drive unit on ebay.

@rvitko can we get some 6080.200 and 6095.130 available on ebay?

I have no baffles in my sump and run a quiet one at 500+ gph and it keeps it sediment free.

exactly what I did. I asked for specific parts and he added them to eBay. The great thing is, if shipping is over they will refund the difference.
