Hello,

I was able to finally get my tank looking a little better and I love my file fish. Now I may actually buy a rock with some aptasia just so he wants to keep eating them since they are totally gone.

I also was finally able to break free the dead pieces of my old coral which helped a lot. Now I’m still increasing my cuc and have a little gha but hoping that goes back down with less light and the fact I have cut feeding by half. The fish graze a lot more so that’s helping.

I also made some new vases or pitchers which haven’t been fired yet. Next week trying to catch up on glazing I’m only 20 behind lol. Here I kinda became creative, i through a large vase ( was 14 tall), and shaped it like a pitcher. Then cut the top and the back half became the handle and the front the spout (which I cut about 3-4 inches off. I don’t have a new pic of the finished drying piece but cleaned the spout and hand marks up (looks like it was before, then made the handle more round and shaped the edges, smoother them out etc. could be a show piece and functional if I did the portions right, (pretty sure I did), but it’s the first one so we will see.

Christmas was last weekend in Thompson Falls, MT where we rented a house and spent the weekend together as a family. It was awesome but lots of driving! Today was quite with just the two of us hanging at the house. How about you?

It was actually a wonderful Christmas spent with friends. Played Disney games, ate a great meal, drank some wine. I was worried my first holiday being single after 15 years would be a struggle, but instead it was fantastic. Good friends are such a treasure!

I am very glad your Xmas was good and not lonely. It’s always scary when people are alone on holidays while everyone else is blanketed with friends and loved ones etc. Knowing you may not have a gift to open (isn’t the point), but not being able to watch anyone open is worse. We all knew you being single was not the issue, that’s because you as a person is what a good person should be. (Not trying to ignite anything here but you can’t make someone love you. Woman are not very kind these days, and divorce is like as cool as getting married is, or breaking up when things get hard. So don’t worry

I forgot how to like add in another message like directing something at you but anyway this works lol: I don’t miss driving, well I do some but not really. So as usually I give some updates after Xmas and always do a new pic of the tank and me. Have not done that part yet, since I’m still working on that, but it was kinda neat morning yesterday so here is to me where I’m suppose to be freezing and lol I’m not.

I can totally see your point of view and pain (sorta). The pain you and @Brew12 have is no doubt very deep. I can’t know or pretend simply because with as fast as I went with school and career I have never dated, (didn’t even go on dates had no time). Even now that I’m still working as residency, which will start again for me (counting wise) in January. Sucks I have to do my second year over but lol I know more than most in the second year now :/. People are mean and selfish. Marriage and commitment mean nothing anymore. Things get hard and people run out the door faster than an untied bull being branded on the rump. Even now, I would never even consider because residency starts and I’ll really have no time. Plus unfortunately idaho is not a very nice person friendly state, most are jerks here.

Time- I agree.
My daughter is doing just that. Her career comes first and until she graduates nursing school which is only a little two years left, she is focused on school and not boys. Makes me happy and confident she will succeed. Sadly, men are no better and most only want pleasure rather than commitment.

I have finally taken some pics of my tank which I will post tomorrow. They apparently are not transferring anywhere (even by text). So since I’m at work I’ll do it when I’m home.

I do have the lastest studio piece I have worked on and lastest glaze load. (New glaze load will go in tomorrow (including some with the new and improved orange (hopefully). So with out further delay enjoy. This latest piece used 10.5 pounds of clay.
