Looking to buy used apex EL and wondering if it needs to have factory reset or unpaired with fusion from old owner before I buy it? Thanks for any help looking to buy today.

I think there is a way you can do it, but you should have the previous owner do it as it will be much easier for them to unpair it from there fusion account.

I just bought a used apex. I was having some difficulties so I called them. They said press and hold the reset button with a paper clip for 1 min and it's a complete factory reset

Thank You for the info. I had him remove controller from his fusion app and will do the reset button when Im ready to setup in few weeks.

So the ph probe was not stored in tank water so im betting it is shot. What about the ORP and salinity probes? They are also dry.

The pH and ORP probes must be stored wet. The temperature and salinity probes will be OK if left dry.
