Currently I am not using my Photon over my aquarium, so it is just taking up space. My wife want to use it as a plant grow light. I am thinking of setting the whites, reds, and greens to 100% and calling it a day. I realize that they are not meant for this purpose, but will give it a try.

Has anyone already tried this?

Yes, several have done so successfully! Basically reversing the settings for a reef tank seems to work great (ie, run the white and reds high, and the blues low).
