UV sterilizer with ozone in the same unit?

I am in the market for a UV on a new tank build that will have ozone. I was originally going to run ozone into the skimmer...but I came across AQua UV and they have an UV light with ozone combined in the unit...

Does anyone have experience with these and how does it work?

There was a product in the late 1970's, early 80's called "Photozone". It used UV at a specific wavelength (231 nm comes to mind) that would also produce ozone. You passed water over the bulb and it came out smelling of ozone. We didn't have any way to dose it back in the day, but you would need to control it some how - an ORP controller perhaps.

I will have an ozone generator and an orp controller.

UV is a method that destroys ozone. It is used commercially to destroy unused ozone. I'm not sure how effective they will work in the same unit.

Yup...I understand. That's not my question...my question is how does it work in this scenario.

What i found out is that it needs a venturi to run the ozone portion.

This doesn't make sense, I will be sticking with a stand alone system.

I am late to the game but, looking at the image above it would appear that the venturi would be pulling through the dry part of the UV inside of the UV quartz tube. The only issue I would see with this is that the bulb and inside of the quartz tube would become dirty/dusty depending on ambient air purity and reduce the efficacy of the UV itself.
