Thank you! Do it! Just supplies roughly 3500, about what I was quoted for a 300gal in glass

So the tank had its first mechanical failure, the power strip I use for the light just quit working. Was up there and did a little trimming the the acrylic covers and added feeding holes. Since I had the light rails down I did the reinforcement I wanted to the rails, much happier with them now, bowing is gone.

So 48in height with a max intensity of 41% (lighting)? Did I read that correctly?

About how many inches down is the lowest acro?

I love this build!

Lol, yeah that's right. Ive been battling a heat issue though, temp has been 84 since june... So I have them turned down, would like to get peak intensity up to about 55%-60% over the next couple months. And the house will have air conditions next year, not playing the turn the lights down and unplug pumps on hot days game next summer...

There is a chuck on tenuis right on the bottom of the tank by the squamosa clam, color and growth are subpar though. I'm sure things will improve as the lighting is ramped back up. So full 48"? Lol

I know the height is 48" but what is the footprint of this beast? Looks great. Are you planning to add any more large fish?

Footprint is 7'x4', I would like to add epaulette sharks once the corals are anchored down well enough to take the abuse without being constantly knocked over but I dont know if that day will ever come... I can dream ;).

Creating a strong bulwark: Did you consider floor support for your reef tank?
