I can not figure out how to configure this and there little documentation on this. I am just trying to get basic stuff for now setup to mimic the speed my return to run at on normal operation if not controlled by the apex.
I created profile called Varios_Max set to 40% and assigned this profile to the variable outlet as
Set Varios_Max.

Whatever I do the pump is still running at 100% and can't determine why.

I think I found what you are talking about setting it on schedule. You have to set it on a schedule? What is the point of profiles then?

On the top left in fusion, you should see the name of your apex. There's a drop-down menu, select tasks, then at the bottom there should be an option for variable speed port

Wait I just read something that the variable speed port on the apex base unit only does 0 to 100% is that true? If so what is the point of that. I shouldn't have to buy a VDM should i ?. I currently have mine plugged into the apex base unit

No I bought the single one, but looking at says kessil. Are they different? I thought they are the same. Why would I need a Y split cabel?

The cable made for the Varios is also used for IceCap pumps. The wiring for the Kessil may not be the same? I would return the Kessil cable and buy the appropriate one that's made for the pump listed above.

I currently have a COR pump but when I was running my Varios6 I used this cable (the icecap cable). The apex has 2 variable outputs for one jack, so you'll need to try both pugs to see which one works.

To control the pump I programmed the base_Var1 output. What was confusing to me was you have to use a profile even if you are doing a static output. My programming was:

Fallback ON
Set RampUp
If FeedA 000 Then Static
If FeedB 000 Then Static
If FeedC 000 Then OFF
If FeedD 000 Then COR_Ramp
If Output vFeedA = ON Then Static
If Output VFeedB = ON Then Static

Where "Static", "COR_Ramp" and "RampUp" are all profiles.
The static profile has a ramp time of 1, start intensity of 14, end intensity of 14 (i.e. it just stays the same). I use this to keep a trickle of water flowing so the sump doesn't fill up.
The RampUp profile has a ramp time of 1, start intensity of 14 and end intensity of 100

You can change your profiles to whatever is appropriate for you.
