Is there a Vendor Marketplace and a Subscriber Marketplace option?
There is a separate sponsor section for dry goods and livestock here:
https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/sponsor-livestock-drygood-sales.988/
In addition to the "regular" livestock selling forum here, which is what I think people are (rightly) upset about:
https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/selling-forum-livestock.9/
I would personally like to see R2R sponsors (or any businesses) limited to the sponsor section, and not posting in the other section, which to me should be a platform for hobbyist to buy/sell/trade with other hobbyists.

There was definitely a new member here recently that was representing a store, and that person was spamming their ads all over the site. I believe that got reported and it stopped.

I understand R2R has sponsors and that's great, but they shouldn't be posting so much that "regular" members can't connect with each other.

Just my $0.02 here.

@revhtree as always, thanks for your efforts to keep the train on the tracks!

As a member on many other forums of different nature, it seems to be an issue in other hobbies to! Agreed though, keep the sponsor listings in the sponsor/commercial threads. I paid to be a member and if I’m limited in how many bumps, and posts it’s what I will abide by. Also as a regular paid membership I can’t post in the commercial. The other way around should also not be allowed. And trust me I get business I run two. But rules are rules. And with out them there would only be chaos. And as much as we don’t like chaos in our reef tanks I don’t think many like it on forums like this one.

Law and Order ladies and gents! ;)

I have noted numerous PM from vendor sales.

Is that a perk that they get as paid vendors?

Thank you OP and others for being polite and discrete in dealing with a problem, and thank you owner/mods for being willing and able to handle it. I agree its a breath of fresh air compared to the way things happen on SOOOOO many other sites!

I had to check it out. My first thought was since it’s being bumped it must be popular at least…and then I go into the thread and they’re the one bumping it, lol.
