I started getting it today also, most sites I have noticed that get it use cloudflare, its used to prevent DDOS attacks, not sure if R2R just started using cloudflare or not.

I've also been getting it, about every 30 or so minutes. Started yesterday for me, on both my work computer and my home computer.

I get it on my phone, and on my PC browsers nearly each time I visit. Doesn't really bother me, but can confirm it is happening a lot.

The US, and yes I'm using a VPN, but a location in the US. I've been using this same VPN for about 7 years and the problems just started a few days ago, so I'm guessing something on the r2r side changed.

The VPN is part of your issue. This site gets hammered by bots and scrapers. Cloudflare is going to challenge your VPN every time the route changes or a cookie, or header doesn’t match. It is doing its job.

Why are you using a VPN? They are pointless for browsing and offer virtually no privacy or safety from anybody that actually cares about tracking you.

Started happening to me within the last hour or so.
What I don't understand is how the heck it even knows im human. It says it's checking but has me do nothing to verify that I am. Maybe it should state verifying you are not non human?

It checks numerous aspects of your connection, browser headers, IP reputation, browser and device fingerprint, etc.

Many folks are getting session content errors, but not Turing tests. So the filters have likely been cranked up and/or the CDN is acting quirky.

I travel a lot and need it to access sites when I'm outside the US and to remotely access the network at work.

I'm curious though if they are pointless why does my IT department require it?

Ive been using it for years and the issues just started on R2R. Just makes it annoying to use.

A VPN implemented to securely connect to a private network is different than a VPN used to route traffic to the public internet.

One is a private tunnel from your device to a private area, the other is a tunnel open on the other end to the public internet, where most of your identifying metrics emerge too. The only thing really somewhat hidden is your IP address that in most cases is dynamically assigned by your internet provider, be it at your home, the airport or the neighbors WiFi.

If it is a work computer, they may require the VPN so that all of your internet traffic goes through their corporate firewall, filtering, anti-virus and logging.

Ive started to have this happen too, pretty much everytime I get on the site and sometimes when I click on a notification. No VPN. I dont think I've had this happen before, especially not every time I open the site.
