Endless verify you’re human loop?

I have not been able to access anything beyond the home landing page and topics/threads therein. If I click on any tabs, for instance “forums”, I get the cloud fare verify you’re human checkbox. When clicking the box, it goes to “verifying”, then verifying stuck, then back to the initial checkbox.

I have found a way around this (just now), and that is to not login (or logout if already logged in). When I’m not logged in I can navigate the entire forum. I still get the verify you’re human box but it goes to “verified” rather quickly. Once I get to the forum I want to be in, I can then login to post. However, once logged in I can no longer navigate the site due to the endless verify you’re human loop. Again, logging out gets me past that.

Needless to say, it’s a bit of a pita!

I Only get this when using a vpn. Which still sucks cause I a pay a few extra buck for a dedicated ip. But apparently that not enough to get around It.

Ah, makes sense. No vpn here. I do have an adblocker but I’ve had that for years. This just started out of the blue. Never had a problem before. I know that on another forum a similar thing happened. It was a preset function of vbulletin, the forum host. Upon detecting bot traffic, it initiates a lock down of sorts triggering the captcha. It appeared to have affected safari/iOS users much more negatively than others. They ended up arguing with the support at vbulletin as they weren’t detecting any issues but requested ip addresses of all people affected. In the end, someone decent over there figured out it was some default setting that no one knew about and switched it off. After that no more problems.

Dont know who you use for your vpn company but try picking a vpn obfuscated server. Alot of sites can detect VPN traffic based and have the fingerprint or ip flagged. The obfuscated servers are stealth vpn mode as have the vpn packets scrambled to look like normal non vpn traffic. Not all hosting providers offer those types of servers. Even with a dedicated ip its picking up the vpn traffic and flagging the bot check.

Thanks Rev. Now the workaround (logging out to navigate and logging back in) no longer works. This is on safari. I can switch to chrome and eveything is fine. Although, I personally have issues navigating chrome now with the new Ai layout and my screen reader. When I switch back to safari, I can’t navigate beyond the homepage. Weird I know.

Edit. I should add that this is across several devices (all iOS) and on the same network and wan ip address.

Yep I had this same exact issue yesterday. Tried again an hour later and the issue went away. I’ve had this happen on multiple other websites too.

Same issue here going for weeks. Sometimes using different browser helps, sometimes using VPN helps, sometimes nothing helps. A bit frustrating, I assumed this was US big techs vs. Australia.

I've made more edits today to try and minimize this happening to "real people."

It could possibly still happen again but we just don't want it to consistently happen. Help me by keeping a log here of when it happens from this post on please.
