I've gotten verification requests a few times now too. No VPN.
Totally understandable that you're trying to prevent AI bots. I'm willing to verify every now and then if it means the site is better protected.

Other than the human check, I've noticed I can't go from a different website to R2R by using the links in my bookmark bar. It's ok if I open my browser and click on R2R, but not from another website.

The site is becoming unusable, Every time I refresh I need to verify that I am human. Even the automated verification takes 5-10 seconds. Geocities loaded faster than that in 1993 with a 14.4 modem @revhtree

I see it alot, or anytime i'm not on this site for a bit. Im not using a vpn, however I do have high traffic and bot like traffic (my bots) coming from my network. Various servers, scripts and things running. I hate cloud flare so much.
