I’ve been using three versa pumps for a couple of years now. I was dosing Aquaforest 3 part, but briefly tried b-ionic because BRS sent me a sample, plus it has a better pH benefit. B-ionic requires much less dosage to maintain alkalinity. I switched back to AF because I found it to be a little more cost effective and easier to spread out dosages with more volume. Well, my alkalinity kept dropping despite me increasing the dosage by over 20ml! I noticed my alkalinity dosing jar was not dropping at the same rate as the other components. I dose the three parts in equal amounts. After some troubleshooting, I found that my versa wasn’t dosing what I had programmed it to do. I did a reset, but also I noticed that I must had changed the daily limit on the versa when I switched to b-ionic. The pump wasn’t dosing more than 20ml a day. So, the long and short is pay attention to your daily limit. Hopefully I don’t get a crazy algae bloom after nearly doubling the other components for a few weeks.
