Welcome to R2R! While I've never used it, I have heard it can kill macro algae.

There a whole thread on here for you to read about vibrant, which kills algae so I would maybe be a little hesitant if you like your micro algae

And Welcome to R2R!!!

Welcome. And here you go.

Please note that most take their algae systems offline. The thread will be of more help and I do highly recommend taking a look. I use the product and will say it worked for me very well. In fact, it worked so well that I noticed it working in less than 24 hours. My mistake was not exporting the extra nutrients from its work so my algae came back 10 times worse.

I did a second attempt after learning from those mistakes and it cleared everything perfectly fine. I really like the stuff and dump some in about once or twice a month. Again, welcome and have a great day.

I have ordered Vibrant and I’m wondering if my chaeto and dragons breath will be ok while using this. Thanks in advance

Lol. I just posted this same question in the Vibrant today. Should be the latest in the thread below. Wondering the same thing as I have macro and mangroves that grow really well. I am probably just going to take the fuge offline for the time.
