Does anyone have one of the twist top Vittle Vaults? They claim they're BPA free, but I'm wondering if they have the plastic type stamped on there? I've seen one or two posts claiming that they suspect that these leach, but thought I'd check. The 4.7 gallon is pretty much the exact form factor I need to fit in my stand and the price is right too.

I bought one originally as an ATO container- but there is no plastic ID marking anywhere on it, so I use it for its original purpose stirring dog food instead

I was able to use a brute 20g instead, since I had space. It’s good grade.

Smallest 15 lb container might be a little too big to store fish food in :)

I forgot to mention these are to be used as ATO reservoirs, haha.

Ah okay, thanks for info. I'm looking for something in the 4-5 gallon range in a 12x12x9ish foot print, unfortunately a standard 3.5 gallon bucket is just a hair too tall.

I have been using the one that holds about 14 gallons as a topoff reservoir on my 50 gallon tank for 5-6 years now. It's perfect for the job.

Have you checked the TDS of the water while inside the reservoir by chance?
