I'm glad to see that you are getting all of your trace elements!

I’m still laughing at your previous. I was getting ready this am and laughed. You’re on fire

Sarcastic wit is about the extent of my wild and crazy side - I try not to let it out too often!

...although I do appreciate the Chuck Norris seal of approval!

I hope this is considered family friendly topic so it continues, maybe rate it PG21?

Because it’s funnyyyyyyyy

For some reason I am picturing you taking your Salifert test kit results to your next doctor's appointment and asking them about your strontium levels. :)

Doing a little vodka dosing myself tonight! 20190524_191524.jpg

I'm of no help here since I am a whiskey person, Irish, Spots fan specifically, but there was an interesting article I read last year from Thibault (Grey Goose creator). Went on to say that you shouldn't put Grey Goose in the freezer. Any high quality Vodka actually. Also recommended the dry Martini to use comparing different Vodka's interesting enough. I saved his recipe for some reason - not sure why...

Ingredients:
  • 50ml Grey Goose vodka
  • 10ml Chilled Noilly Prat dry vermouth
  • Dash of orange bitters
  • Lemon zest to garnish
Method:
  1. Add Grey Goose and vermouth to a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir deliberately and strain into a chilled martini glass.
Shake:
20 seconds - NO MORE

On the rocks, with a decent vodka belvedere or grey goose goes down well [emoji1]

Also I clicked the link because I'm an actual fan of vodka dosing and thought it was a real question. Stayed for the love of vodka drinking :D :D

Dang it, now I gotta go get the ingredients to try it

I have never vodka dosed the tank but my fish have developed a taste for high end single malt scotch. :p
My personal goal is to keep my tank alive and well long enough to dose with a high-end single malt scotch which is appropriately aged

What??? You can't put quality vodka in a freezer? That is the entire reason we use the freezer! Well, that and pizza rolls. I'm saving the martini recipe. I'll buy the ingredients this week and let you know what I think.

This made me laugh. Thanks! :)

I've never tried Belvedere. Grey Goose is a staple.

Lol - don't blame me! I'll have to see if I can find the article. He had a good reason and I guess he should be in the know, right? Since that is his thing although I believe he started or studied as a wine maker.

Hmmmm... starting to question his qualifications. We must find someone to locate this article. If only there was a librarian on the forum! Wait...oh shoot.
