Hi i have bought a lot of vortech 2 mp10 and 2 mp40 in the lot i have 3 mp40 driver and 1 mp10 driver can i use a mp 40 driver on a mp10 motor ?

I wouldn’t risk it, but ive never tried.

A quick google search returned the following:

No, you cannot use an MP40 dry side with an MP10 wet side. The magnet strength and physical dimensions of the MP40 dry side motor are far too powerful and mismatched for the smaller MP10 wet side assembly.

Compatibility and Risks
    • Magnetic Mismatch: The MP40 dry side produces a much stronger magnetic field designed for a larger wet side and thicker glass.
    • Mechanical Failure: Pairing them will cause the magnets to misalign violently, lock up, rattle loudly, or create excessive friction that can strip or break the MP10 wet side ceramic shaft and bearings.
    • Overheating: The intense magnetic mismatch can force the MP40 dry side motor to work improperly or overheat

You may be ok. If you decide to try it, keep us posted on how it works out.

I don’t have any Mp10 wet sides or I would try it myself.

Seems the OP is asking about a mp10 pump and a mp40 control pad, nothing to do with wet sides.

Can you clarify?

I have done a test and i have plug the mp10 motor in a mp40 controler it is working but i dont know if my motor can handle it

You have to remember that the mp40 wetside has a bigger magnet than the mp10.
absolutely would not use it this way unless you got them for zero to nothing dirty cheap.

I don't want to use the mp40 motor on a mp10 wet side am asking only for the mp40 controler on the mp10 motor and wet side
