wakeboardgeek's rimless SPS build

Tanks looking good. What are the stocking plans?

Thanks! Fish stocking list has been put on hold because I adopted a small purple tang from my buddy that got beat up pretty bad and has HLLE. I'm trying to get him healed up so he'll be the only fish for a while.

As for coral, I'm planning on "hairy" SPS; millepora, prostratas, etc. I may add some unique growth pieces like dragons or efflos.

Try some selcon for the HLLE, works pretty good.

Cool bro, it's strangely odd to find high end sps lately locally. A lot of chalice and lps fans here in Orlando. Don't get me wrong still cool, but a big outbreak of aefw hit last year so people are hesitant to try again. Just make sure to dip anything. I learned the hard way and took a few months to rid my tank of the pests.

In the past I've been unhappy with thehitch-hikers I've gotten from live rock and though I could try to make mycustom shapes with DIY live rock. I started the live rock a few monthsago and has been kuring. The rock is no longer leaching anything and thepH is stable so I can start cycling the rock! Here is a couple picturesof the planned aquascape (minus an island that will go in the front corner ofthe tank). The eye-level pic, you can see where I'm planning on addingthe powerhead on the back wall :)

Thanks for the selcon recommendation.

I've always been hooked on SPS. I dip everything and have actually started dipping with Bayers.

A fellow reefer actially has a few frags healing; Somewhere over the rainbow, rouge Mille, and snowcone prostrata to name a few.
