Asian Arowana are Illegal in the state, you cant find one from a legit retailer. Only way to get one is if you have a public aquarium license for endangered species and a bunch of other legal documents that are pretty hard to get if you aren't a decent size public educational institution, like a zoo or public aquarium

they are legal in canada, not legal in the us. I believe silver arowanas and some other kinds are, just not asian. You would either have to do some illegal smuggling or move to canada.

Yep, jardini is the closest to Asian Arowana in looks, a lot less color variant and more aggressive from what I heard
Yes, I gad both silver and Jardini. Jardini is much more aggressive. I had to keep him in a separate tank.
