I really like favias and I think they add a lot of contrast to sps. I grow my favias on disks because otherwise they don't play nice with sps and this way I can move them away from my encrusted sps colonies when they threaten
this is a very different colored favia
I threw in three pictures of it. I guess I really like it. It is on a three inch round disk

I can't get this cyphasterea to color up entirely, I just get little bits of mosaic coloring.

I don't always see extended polyps on this colony. Just as the reefbrites turned on this morning, I saw the polyps so wonderfully extended, I grabbed the camera for a couple of shots.
