I've had a YWG in QT for 4 weeks ( https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/new-yellow-watchman-goby.245111/ ) so it was time to move him to the DT. Picked up a tiger pistol last night from the lfs. After acclimation I placed the shrimp near a rock where he immediately started digging, then placed the goby right next to him. Goby saw him right away and within a minute there was enough burrow for him to guard. I have a video where the shrimp first noticed the goby, can't seem to upload it from my phone though so I'll add it a little later.

It was one of the coolest things I've ever witnessed. Thought it would be a nice thing to share.

That is so cool. I just added my yasha goby pair in with a candy cane shrimp. I'm hoping they all find each other (and that I actually see them at some point).

Hello bob! That's a lot more fish! I see your goby in the tank already, you kissed your quarantine procedure goodbye!? Have you read up on chromis? They likely won't all survive. Looking good though.

Oh also, that mandarin is very cool, that will be my next addition if I can ever get a pod population going. I may be building a diy hob fuge soon. A coworker had one that ate pellets and frozen, but one day he just stopped. Starved himself to death.

I am envious that you get to see your shrimp AND your goby. I haven't seen either goby or shrimp since they went into my cube. :/

I'm sorry, I was worried about never seeing mine. They dug a burrow right up front though. Almost got a picture of both of them side by side this morning, but when the goby noticed the camera the shrimp ducked into the hole just in time. I army crawled up to the tank, and slowly raised the camera up to get a shot [emoji23]
