Trying to plan out what lighting I will need for a water box 32.5.

I plan on having at some point down the road softies and some SPS.

Initially I thought an AI Prime would do the trick but after some research I’m thinking it might not quite be up to the job and don’t want to have to buy more lights later on.

Would a AI Hydra cover that area better? Even if a little overkill in the beginning I’d be able to turn the intensity back correct?

Thoughts and suggestions please.

I run the AI Hydra over my 35.2. Good coverage and par readings throughout the tank. Pretty much will cover you on most corals.

I would stay away from the AI Prime for this size tank as it isnt enough for SPS and overall coverage.

Any chance you have some pictures of your setup?
