I've been doing water changes weekly at about 15% of my 130g total volume. Unfortunately, I had to remove my surviving fish due to a velvet and ich outbreak, which I believe I got from a coral. The tank is about 7 months old. I have about 10 LPS corals in there with a clean up crew and cleaner shrimp which I plan to feed. I dose MG, Ca, and Soda Ash and have Carbon and GFO filtration. Finally, I have a refugium and a healthy copepod population. I do plan to add another shrimp and a clam to take advantage of the fallow period.

So, can I extend my water change schedule. Ideally I'd like to reduce DT water changes during this time, since I'm going to be doing water changes on the QT tanks (13.5 and 20 gallons) Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks

As long as you are replacing what the coral needs, I see no harm in reducing the amount changed.
