I just sent out an icp test and revived my results. Says I have way too much silicates which I believe is true because my diatoms are going crazy. It’s not a new new tank it’s about 1 year old but do you think it’s because I added a ton of ceramic bio media into the sump for refugium? Or is there another cause? And how do I remove it? It also says I have too much iron how do I remove that? And says I have to much vanadium how do I remove that?

What are the iron and vanadium values? They may be fine. Icp companies have a hair trigger to recommend changes.

Any metal parts in the water?
The vanadium is 12.00 µg/l and the iron is 6.00 µg/l. No metal parts in tank except my flipper magnetic algae scrapper. Also for your other comment i use a 4 stage brs rodi filter with 0 tds only never put anything else in.
