Hello guys, I’m just looking at my tank and was wondering if this water level makes sense. I have an AIO tank and noticed that the water is trickling back into return chamber through this little overflow slit. Is that the way it’s designed or should I lower the water level? Thanks in advance

I don’t think it’s a problem but I would ask the manufacturer this question and see how it is supposed to function.

I wonder if a snail or something blocked the normal overflow if that’s when the slit is supposed to prevent the pump from running dry? Having too much water in the system, with a blockage on the normal overflow might allow the tank to overfill and overflow?
