Waterbox 20 Cube Build

Update: after cleaning tank up bit and water change thought I'd update. Chaeto is growing crazy. I've already given 2 baseball chunks to local reefers trying it out in aio like the wb20. I added 2 corals, 1 2headed octospawn and large mushroom from local folks. Parameters after the 5gal change look great except nitrate is bit high, but been reading zoas and euphyllia like the octospawn enjoy that as well my nem like a little phos and nitrate to help it grow. Still trying to dial in my hd prime as I can't seem to get eight colors to see the blues and greens in the corals. Anyway that is all. Happy reefing!

Honestly John, its cause the pump has been a pain to dial in. I replaced stock with sicce 1.0 and it seems to be a lot of push even on lowest setting. I also have the kraken reef lid that has a sort of "drooping" netting and if it gets two high, the pump will disturb the surface and it goes up into the lid. No spillage but makes a salty mess with evap. I just sent my students home for the summer so i hope to do a lot of work on the tank besides weekly maintenance lol/

upgrade the the pump, the stock one is noisy and just use the stock pump to mix your salt water
The stock pump is designed for the tank, mine is also really quiet.

Download all of the ai prime signature settings and see which one you like the most. Then you can tweak the schedule to fit your needs.
