Waterbox 230.6

So I’ve waited since black Friday for my WB 230.6 to show up. Today was the day! FedEx arrived and unloaded and left. I started unpacking and assembling the stand when i realized they didn’t send me the doors or side panels!

Unbelievable! I’ll get with them tomorrow to see how long it’s going to take to rectify it but I’m not guessing it will be quick

Guess I’ll cancel the movers and water delivery guy I had scheduled for Thursday

Thanks. I moved heaven and earth to get my wife to agree to let me put it in the living room instead of the study

Hopefully, she’ll take to it and help you with the livestock selection and upkeep. I was surprised when my wife did, and now I think she’s more into it than I am.

It definitely makes life easier with it in the living room.

That's my biggest fear when my WB order finally gets here. What if there are damage or missing items unique to the model I ordered. My delivery window is in the next 2 weeks. Please keep us updated.

WB got back to me right away this morning and advised the doors were shipped separately from the aquarium. Why- im not quite sure. They are coming UPS and the tank came via fedex.

Anyways they should be picked up by UPs today so hopefully I get them by Monday.

I just finished setting up my waterbox 230.6. Im excited to be following along to see your build

Well that was an ordeal. A week later the doors showed up- damaged. WB promptly has sent now ones. For now I’ve installed the damaged ones and gotten the tank inside as of tonight with the help of my neighbors.

Nothing is sketchy like move a 5k aquarium with $120 in suction cups off of amazon but we got it done without fuss

Anybody know what I need to connect my waterbox plumbing to my reefmat ? Id like to hardpipe it

Same in the pump- I have a RS 12000 pump to connect to the WB return line

That wait was crazy! Great tank though. I set up the same tank last October. Love it and it’s doing great. I’m also running the RS 1200, but didn’t hard plumb. Good luck with set up.

3 xr15’s I kinda expected more

Cycle is 8 days in with turbostartXLM and ammonia.

Ammonia finally coming down measured at 1.2ppm today

Finally plumbed in my reefmat.

Tank is cycled so I moved a few fish over- regal, clowns, and a pellet eating mandarin. Need to remove the rock work in my other tank to catch the flame angel, purple tang, and white tail

Par seem pretty low. At what percentage are you running the lights to obtain those numbers?

That said and being new tank, you do not need much intensity at all to start.
