3 xr15’s I kinda expected more

Cycle is 8 days in with turbostartXLM and ammonia.

Ammonia finally coming down measured at 1.2ppm today

Par seem pretty low. At what percentage are you running the lights to obtain those numbers?

That said and being new tank, you do not need much intensity at all to start.

That’s 100%. Beyond disappointing to say the least

Man, that is really low @ 100%. I see lots of really nice tank with those lights though. Hopefully that's enough. Although I've never had those lights, I really surprised and thought it would be double that.

Congratulations on our new 230.6. I started my 230.6 with 3 XR15, but it wasn't enough, so I had to add 2 more. I think you would be happy.

Congratulations on the new tank. On my Waterbox Infinia 230.6—the same model—I have two Radion XR30 G5s in the middle, two Kessil AP9Xs on the sides, and four T5s (two in the front, two in the back). It really depends on what you want to see in your aquarium; it’s best to come up with a plan right away so you don't end up overpaying later on.

All, I received my WB Tank last week and overall it seems well built. One thing I did notice and was puzzling to me is the placement/lack of seam guards. My Tank has seam guards around the bottom perimeter only and does not have them on the vertical panes of glass. Is yours also built like this?

Got the skimmer and reactor set up today. Only think left is to install the ATO and a lot of cable management

Put the rest of the fish in today- white tail bristletooth is loving the extra space from my previous 4’ tank. She looks like the redbull racing planes through the pylons as she’s maneuvers through the arches
