Hey everyone, super sorry I've been gone for so long. Forums are hard for me to keep up with in addition to graduating from college. I'm officially the holder of a bachelors in business administration and part of the Houston reefing community!

TANK UPDATES:
  • Fish death: Yellow watchman goby jumped out of the tank almost immediately after setup. RIP, The Notorious Y.W.G. will never be forgotten.
  • New anemone: Black widow anemone split! The new split is still looking a little rough. My black widow anemone was looking fine upon setup but now looks shriveled. I've fed it mysis & brine once, then it started acting funny. Hopefully it will bounce back!
  • Lighting schedule change: I upped my wattage on my AI Prime HDs and increased the schedule length. I'm also looking into purchasing AI Hydra 26 HDs for the tank.
  • Skimmer probs: My skimmer pump still goes out every few days. I have to unplug it anywhere from an hour to a full day for it to reset. Nothing obstructing the pump. No idea what's causing it but that's what I get for having an inexpensive, tiny skimmer on a tiny tank.
Overall, I'm really happy with my tank. I'm maintaining a happy mixed reef and I just fragged my own zoanthids for the first time yesterday. I think nano tanks have a bad rep and there's a lot of prejudice out there. My tank is super easy to maintain and I love it <3

PARAMETERS:
Ca: 425 ppm
Nitrate: 2 ppm
Phosphate: 0.055 ppm
Alk: 7.3 dKH
SG: 1.026
