Waterbox Frag 125 Alternatives??

I’m in love with the water box 125 and/or 155 frag tank. I have a 2 year old generic 100 gallon in my office at work that’s been running well. It helps kids focus during some hard counseling and offers a distractions for kids when a parent may be there in counseling with me. So it’s fun and useful to me.

I’d really like to upgrade though as the tank is ugly and a bit of a Frankenstein. I’ve done all I can but it’s still aesthetically a cheap tank. It doesn’t give the “this person is a professional” vibe off.

And here’s where I need your help… I don’t have massive bucks and am running on a non profit budget. I’ve watched for a year for a used waterbox frag to come up for sale in Texas and had no luck. I’ve given up that route and decided to try and look for cheaper alternatives.

I hear that waterbox drop ships from overseas. While I’d love it, I don’t need the name brand and probably will never be able to afford it. Is there a generic alternative out there? I am looking for 100-150 gallons with sump and stand. I need the Sump hidden as it’s an office tank and sometimes doesn’t get the love it needs. I also would like it to be a shorter tank 16” or so to get in there and work. I’ve got some neglected rock work in the current 100 at 24” deep.

Does this exist outside the 4-5k price tag that I can’t afford? I’m hoping if it does someone here can help point me to it.

The infinia frag 125 is $2600. Is that out of your range? You could probably sign up for 0% financing as well.

Rimless shallow tanks are generally just more expensive since there is less seam length for silicone to secure the panels, the glass needs to be thicker and the workmanship needs to be top notch to ensure integrity.

How about a slightly smaller system? Price jumps drastically with shallow tanks the larger you get. Maybe check these out:

It probably is out of my budget. I got the current setup used for $400. I think my max is about $1000-1200. I am hoping I will find a used one eventually. I currently have a 24" tall tank and it's great but I could really like to get something lower that I can get into more often and care for better.
