Waterbox Infinia 190.5 Build Help

Hey everyone. Getting back into the hobby after a break due to a move 4 years ago. I am excited to get started. Here is my tank build. I haven't pulled the trigger yet, so please let me know if you see ways to improve, or cut costs, without giving up any functionality or reliability. This time around I am doing AWC and ATO sourced from a water station/storage in the garage routed to the tank.

Should I use the Nyos Quantum 220 AC instead of Reef Octopus Regal 250sss?

I just installed my Infinia 230.6 waterbox on the stand. You also have a new tank. I'd recommend you look at the Ultra Reef Shark Skimmer. I've had it for two years now, a 90-gallon one, and I have no complaints at all.

I think all of your choices are fine and can produce excellent results.
I don’t think Radion would be my choice of light in the current market. I also don’t think xr15’s produce a lot of par. If you want Acropora I’d get something punchier with more spread. I like the reef breeders Meridian and the ATI straton line as my first choices.
I agree on Ultra Reef skimmers with the above comment, I have one and it’s amazing. The reef octopus skimmer you have listed is great I’m sure, they have an excellent reputation.
The one ecotech product I still really love is the MP line. I think you will need more than 2 MP40 down the road but it depends on your needs as far as corals go (for Acropora I’d prefer to start with 3). I like running one along the front glass all the way across uninterrupted and then having two pointing across the back pointed at each other creating turbulent flow and decreasing dead zones.
I have nothing to say bad about my Vectra, it works and was expensive. Make sure you get the appropriate model for your flow rate needs, it seems the L2 would be overkill for this model unless you’re running a lot of head pressure or a manifold. Big return pumps increase noise/splash through the system and don’t necessarily increase filtration capacity or efficiency.
I found a comparable utility pump on Amazon for the sicce zero for like $25! use it all the time and works great.
I found a used RODI in decent shape and replaced all the cartridges for a lot cheaper than a new kit. It really depends on your tds how comprehensive of a system you need, my tds is 20 from tap and can get by with just a 3 stage ro but have added di stage to prevent tds creep.
I would consider a uv, at least allow for it in your design as I had to add one for Dinoflagellates early on.
Nothing wrong with your list at all but the main thing I think you would want to upgrade down the line (or I would want to upgrade due to my acro obsession) are the xr15, just think you will be underwhelemed if you’re trying to grow corals.

Any thoughts on the Dalua Great White Skimmer DC 17?

Dalua is a solid company from everything I have heard. I’m not personally familiar with their skimmer, but it’s likely a good product.
Their lights would also be high in my running. Check out polo reefs drop down tank. Their lights look amazing on it.

It’s going really well. Had some issues with low nutrients so needed to reduce AWC and start dosing nitrates. Other than that, the tank has been a dream. You will love the 190!
