@WaterBox we need to talk.

My tank arrived with scratches, silicone gap in the sump.... and nobody does anything?

Wheres the quality and the premium you advertise?

I dont have a reply from you from the 17th off September.....

Do I need to purchase silicon for a brand new tank?
Do I need to Buff the scratches in a New tank?

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!

Hi. Thank you for your fast response.

It was told that since its not a structural problem i could assemble. But it will leak RO water into the Sump... and there are many scratches on the internal part of the display. I was told that you would reach the reseller and reach a solution. On the 17th September. I asked for follow up... nothing.

I'm sorry to see this! I know when I ordered my SC Aquariums tank, I had to inspect it and sign off on it while the delivery driver was still in my driveway, which doesn't give you a long time to look over a whole tank

Keep in mind, if tank manufacturer gives you a hard time, your credit card company or payment processor may be able to help

I paid a new tank and look at the Premium Quality I get...... now not even the seller wants to take care of it.....

I already warned waterbox and the shop I purchased it. I am trying to solve this in a friendly way. If they dont do anything. I hope that my CC provider will help. However. I think I may pay for the return shipping for the tank?

Seems they are not dealing with it in a friendly way with you i would just try and charge back and save urself the hassle of dealing with them you have tried just see if you can charge back

I did check but if anything was broken... Im not expecting the glass to arrive like this in a new tank that passed QC.

can you get D-D tanks in Portugal? i would look into 1 of them if you can

Unfortunately is kinda hard to get other brands, we do have Red Sea and waterbox, I chose WB because of some unfortunate events with RS tanks... and the luck is not on my side.

Aparently... I had a chat on the phone with the CC provider and I am able to start a dispute.

I had issues with Waterbox as well. The stand had dents in the doors from being mishandled. Sent them pics and they said they didn’t meet the criteria to get replaced. Not quite damaged enough. The dents are noticeable from across the room. The sad part is they painted over the dents hoping it would be ok. Their customer service stopped answering emails. They build their stuff in China and have Chinese QC. In my opinion, they are just as awful as Red Sea, but in a different way.


I’ll never recommend them.

@WaterBox I am still with a scratched reeftank with optical issues, bad silicone on my sump. . . . .waterbox online stated that a form of compensation can be achieved..... The shop (Umdale) in Europe refuses to assist me.... WHAT DO I NEED TO DO? WHAT?????? I JUST WANT A NICE TANK! I have it since August and nobody helps me....
