Hi all,
I have a 4ft lagoon reef tank that is approaching its third year. I have noticed I keep having issues with the balance between return pump and weir overflow. The weir on this tank is quite small, one thing I have noticed is an accumulation of coralline all the way across the lower end of the weir comb. This looks to be inhibiting the back flow to the sump.
The weir comb is not removable from this particular tank. I have tried brushing and using a dentist pick but I have not been able to remove much of the coralline, does anybody have any better ideas please?
