Hello all, been in the hobby since 2012ish and got out in 2015 due to moving from Las Vegas to Montana. Decided to try and get my hands wet again, but decided to go the nano route this time.

Started out with a 12g bio cube, moved to a 24g nano cube, and now I think I found the tank I will be keeping long period. Went with the WB PM 25 due to it being the perfect size for the desk that we purchased.

Tank: Waterbox Peninsula Mini 25, stock return pump (surprisingly not noisy, which I was expecting from all the research lol)

Lighting: AI Prime HD

Controller: Neptune Apex with temp and PH probes, and Avast Marine ATO

Cover: Kraken reef

Flow: Nero 3

Sand: Fiji Pink

Rock: Started off with Marco dry rock and added some additional after moving tanks

Current livestock
- 1 snowflake clown (hoping to add an additional, but need to get the terror damsel out haha)
- Regal Damsel fish (will be rehoming due to it harassing and stressing any new fish and I'm assuming caused 4 deaths) RIP Yasha goby, High fin goby, smaller black clown, and smaller Picasso clown.
- 1 lonely candy strip pistol shrimp
- 3 trochus snails, 3 zombie snails, 2 cerith snails, 1 turban snail
- 1 small pincushion urchin

Hoping to add a yasha goby, possibly a possum wrasse, tailspot blenny, and 1 clownfish (to have a pair). Will wait to add until after the damsel is gone.

Current corals:
Princess peach zoas
Blue hornet zoas
Chaos zoas
Peteroglyph cousins zoas
CARs zoa
Aussie purple splash rug rhodactis
Iron man mushrooms
Iron man favia
Green fuzzy mushroom
Tyree green toadstool
Toxic Green Hammer
Duncan's
GSP

On order:
JF fox flame
Bird of paradise
Flaming phoenix monti
Bubblegum digi
Grim reaper torch
Dragon soul torch
Beach bum monti

And that will probably be it for a while haha.

Will get pictures up soon!

Final resting grounds for the tank and some other pictures of rock work. Any ideas on how to take good pictures with an iPhone 13 Pro without switching to full spectrum for lights haha. Also, the kiddos wanted some little decorations (I know they add no benefit, but it kind of fit a pirate them lol) so of course I had to add them.

You can always get one of those orange lens kits from Amazon or a place like Orphek. Those can help take good photos with an iPhone

Favorite view of the day! Also, added a cleaner shrimp, 4 blue leg hermits, and a fighting conch. Should have my coral order in under 2 ish weeks, had to frag 'em and let 'em heal :).

No big updates. Had a crazy ATO issue which almost overflowed the tank. I'm assuming it was due to the filter sock, as I completely forgot about it. So I ordered a Kraken Reef filter cup and just snagged the coral viewing glasses to try with my phone for now lol. Also, had to dive in on the AquaSD live sale. Props to @AquaSD for providing my first corals in 2021, only lost 2 (need to get my gluing game down cause the urchin is a pain). But anyways I will be getting a few more corals that were unplanned of course.

ASD Darth Vader (gotta have them if I am getting the Yoda lol)
OG Rainbow Yoda (last ones got knocked over by the urchin and were not caught in time)
Rainbow Base Yuma
CARs
Rainbow Ds
OG Garf Bonsai
Ultra Acan Lord
Scarface Blasto

Will have these next Friday and assuming I will get the other order once they are cut and healed. So now its time to order a frag rack as well. SMH, I swear it never ends haha.

Got the coral and of course as usual AquaSD throws in a freebie.

Took a lil drive to the local reef shop (2 hour drive) .
Brought home a couple new fish.

Yellow Banded Possum Wrasse (fat and healthy)
Hi Fin Goby (all the Yashas are out of stock online and he didn't have any and I wasn't willing drop another $100 + on another fish lol.)
Small Clownfish (to hopefully occupy the other clown to let the wrasse do it's thing)

Exiting the tank would be the regal damsel fish and I just gave him to the local Petco ‍♂️. We will see how the clown and wrasse interact, but would probably get an acclimation box to put the clown/clown in if he decides to be a bully. Willing to rehome the clown(s) if needed to keep a more peaceful tank.

Anyways I will get pics up when the lights are back on.

Lights are on. Still waiting for my lens filter to use to get better pictures lol. All the coral from AquaSD is looking good and my newest fish addition is peeking out. He has kind of claimed the frag rack as his hiding spot.

Wrasses are definitely odd when first introduced. Was slightly worried last night cause he was all sideway up under the frag rack, also it doesn't help that the clown is pestering him either.

Sadly donated my larger snowflake clownfish as well :crying-face:. He was keeping the possum wrasse confined to under the frag rack. So the chose to keep the $130 dollar wrasse > $50 clown lol. It is what it is, but not on to finding a new fish to stock the tank with. Was debating on a McCosker's Flasher wrasse to add some more movement into the tank (reading conflicting information), but would like something that is a fairly active swimmer, and then the tail spot blenny would be the last of it. Anyways, that's all I have for now. Still waiting on the torches and other coral and then it will be a waiting game for growth. Then hopefully all I have to do is maintain via water changes haha.

Also, with a heavier stocking (5 fish) in the tank , would it be beneficial to get rid of the chaeto in the middle chamber and add a skimmer? the only think I like about the chaeto is being able to throw pods and hopefully have them breed in there. But I am up for any ideas or suggestions.

Got the kraken reef glasses quite the amazing difference in view. Still waiting for an attachment for my phone, so here are some rigged pictures lol. My wife and kids wanted to add some little non rock decorations lol. I do think I need to add a little more rock work at some point.
